These terms cover the Purrbyte desktop application and the purrbyte.app website. By creating an account or purchasing a license you agree to them.

The license

Purrbyte is sold as a one-time purchase: a personal, non-transferable license to install and use the app on the computers you own. You may not resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app. Some future online features (for example AI-generated pets or cosmetic drops) may be offered separately as optional paid services.

Accounts

An account links your license and your cat to your email. You're responsible for keeping access to that email. Using the app without an account is fine — cloud features simply stay off.

Payments and refunds

Payments are handled by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy — they are the seller of record and process refunds and taxes. If something went wrong with your purchase, email support@purrbyte.app within 14 days and we'll sort it out — a cat that doesn't work on your machine is a valid reason for a refund.

Updates

The app updates itself automatically with fixes and features. We may change or retire individual features over time; we won't remotely disable the core app you paid for.

No warranty

Purrbyte is provided "as is". We work hard to keep the cat happy and harmless, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted operation, and to the maximum extent permitted by law we're not liable for indirect damages — the cat's total liability is limited to what you paid for it.

Termination

We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (fraud, resale of licenses, attacks on our infrastructure). You can delete your account at any time via support@purrbyte.app.
